Poseidon Divers welcomes back the rest of their staff members! All of our Instructors from last season have returned (that has to be a good sign! ) from their winter breaks and we celebrated in Poseidon fashion with a few cold ones at Blue Beach last night. It's great to have everyone back and getting ready for spring. The weather has been fantastic and we have definitely been enjoying the sun!
We have so many exciting things in the works including a new network of Dive Centres called Global Dive Network. Check out the new website... www.globaldivenetwork.com We have teamed up with 6 other Dive Centres across the globe offering more fun, discounts, dive jobs and as always amazing standards of teaching!
We have had a plethora of interesting marine life spottings, just right here in the bay, including a seagrass ghost pipe fish, Spotted Shrimpfishes, Seamoths and our own frogfish. We had a little black frogfish living at the bottom of our buoy line over the winter and we think it has moved, grown and changed it's colors. Either way, we all hope it stays put and if you book your tickets to Dahab quick enough we will take you to visit him (check him out in the picture above).
We are also looking forward to the upcoming April IDC. We are happy to have one of our former Gap Year Diver Interns returning to complete her Instructor Course! Jess was here in October last year for 10 weeks completing her Rescue and Divemaster Courses. The IDC starts on April 11th so it's not too late to sign up and join Jess! We are all looking forward to the year to come and are hoping to see lots of familiar faces as well as new ones.
