I wanted to post this as Trip Advisor have been taking down reviews that relate to courses over more than one day. Some they leave and others they take down. There is no way of contacting them to find out why they have taken down a review.

Just got back home from my 2 week stay at Poseidon and feel i left some family behind. JP thank you for always having a answer to my questions and a solution ready for my problems. Dave and Joe i coulden't have had any better instructors to guide me trough this course. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with me. Hamada the team-cook, i called him mama-Hamada for taking care of me from the morning coffee till the after work snack. If you are at Poseidon ask for the Hamada special! Shahat, the genie of the team..if something needs fixed, he will be your man! Thank you for having shared your tricks! The time with the Poseidon team was fantastic! If you are in Dahab and want to experience some great diving spots with a professional team, these guys will not dissapoint you! They organized my trip, arranged the transfers, booked my hotel (loved to stay at the 4S) and made it to pass me trough the Divemaster course in such a short time. What could i want more? Go back ASAP!
Will be there again in 2 months. Thanks again guys!

“Excellent Training”

Booked my husband in here for a try dive in August and we returned in October for his open water and advanced open water.

Instructors are very professional and thorough, definitely gave me the impression that if you weren't up to the grade then they wouldn't pass you. Many thanks to Dave, Jackie and also Andy who was taking his divemaster course.

We had a few days in Sharm at the end of our holiday and we booked a boat trip so he could dive there. Instructor in Sharm was very impressed that we had gone to Poseidon and he confirmed that they are well known for their excellent standards.

I found Poseidon to be exceptionally well organized and helpful both before I got to Dahab, and during my entire stay. The dive centre itself is run very professionally by experienced and friendly staff, who could not do enough to facilitate some fantastic diving - I completed the Advanced Open Water course and also did several fun dives - I cannot recommend Poseidon strongly enough, and will definitely be booking with them again. It's only the start of October....

We've had a fun month, so far! It's been fun dives and courses.

We've already introduced some people to the wonderful world of diving. We took Sean and Ollie through their Open Water courses and onto the Advanced Open Water. They got to dive on the boat at Gabr El Bint, they dived The Thistlegorm and also took camels to Ras Abu Galum where they were lucky enough to see an eagle ray!

Currently, we have 4 divemaster trainees. Two are near the start of their course and we have two almost finished.

Big wave goodbye to JJ and his family. JJ did the Rescue course with us. On his last diving day he was able to dive with his companions, Chris and Fran, as they had just completed their Open Water courses.

We also said goodbye to Francesco and Martina. They had some great days of diving and then on their dry day, before flying, they packed the day with horse riding, quad biking and playing with the cats in the centre.

Making new friends and seeing old ones return is so much fun!
